Kimberly Williams is the founder of East Public Relations and a veteran of the Nashville music industry, with roots that stretch back to her teenage years performing in her family’s acoustic band in Texas. After moving to Tennessee in the late ’80s, she worked as a demo singer before launching an exciting career with Gaylord Entertainment’s Opryland Productions, a division of the Grand Ole Opry Group. There, she booked live entertainment for the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, produced major corporate events for Gaylord’s various properties—including the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, Opryland Themepark, and Grand Ole Opry—and managed the Roy Acuff Theatre.

In 2005, Kimberly founded East Public Relations to support touring artists with professional publicity and marketing. What began as a small operation has grown into a respected agency offering album promotion, strategic consultation, and tour support. In addition to public relations representation for artists such as Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Joe Mullins & the Radio Ramblers, and the award-winning Industrial Strength Bluegrass Festival, she manages GRAMMY® winner Michael Cleveland and books Curb Records’ Pitney Meyer.

Kimberly also produces Liberty Square: A Lester Flatt Celebration in Sparta, TN—IBMA’s 2015 Event of the Year. She is a 2012 Leadership Bluegrass graduate and an active member of IBMA, SPBGMA, and AMA. Her work has been spotlighted in Bluegrass Unlimited, The Bluegrass Standard, and the “Bluegrass Stories” podcast.

Her husband, GRAMMY® and IBMA-winning banjo player Blake Williams, supports EPR behind the scenes, bringing over 50 years of industry experience. Together, they continue to shape and elevate the careers of acoustic music artists and events across the country.
