Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers, IBMA’s reigning Entertainers of the Year, have released a LIVE Concert DVD as well as a limited edition Vinyl LP of their latest hit album, For The Record.
“The energy from our home festival audience inside the Roberts Centre in Wilmington, OH, has inspired the Radio Ramblers since we first started in 2006,” Joe Mullins says. “The performances on our 2020 DVD release are from our Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival in November of 2019, right after the blessing of being named IBMA Entertainers of the Year. The DVD song selection includes several exclusives, not on any CD – Mike’s jazzy mandolin work on ‘Goofus,’ a couple of Osborne Brothers tunes, our instrumental version of ‘Home Sweet Home’ and some very special guests. Audiences everywhere love the old song ‘Rank Strangers To Me’ and recording it with Ralph Stanley II was really special. My old friend Dudley Connell of the Seldom Scene sings a tune we recorded over 20 years ago with the band Longview. And, our friend Becky Buller really shined alongside Jason as we wrapped up the show with some GREAT twin-fiddling!”
Both projects are available on the band’s website at radioramblers.com.
