It’s About Tyme Tops National Bluegrass Survey for Third consecutive Month, Roots Music Report Top 50 Albums Fifth Week in a Row, Three songs on National Bluegrass Survey Top 30!

 
CUMMING, GA (February 1, 2016)—Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out and Break A String Records are celebrating the latest chart news that places It’s About Tyme at #1 on the National Bluegrass Survey’s Top 15 Albums chart for a third consecutive month. Released September 4th, It’s About Tyme has been the fastest charting album in the band’s history, making its debut on the National Survey at #2 in November, climbing to #1 in December, and remaining in the top spot for January and February 2016. The album has also claimed the #1 spot five consecutive weeks on the Roots Music Report Top 50 Bluegrass Albums.
 
It’s About Tyme has also produced several chart-topping songs, namely “Cottontown,” which has rocketed to the #1 spot for the last two consecutive weeks on Bluegrass Today’s Top 20 Songs Chart and the latest single, “I’m Leaving You And Fort Worth Too” which comes in at #2. “Cottontown” is also #1 on this month’s SiriusXM Bluegrass Junction Most Played Trackschart. What’s more, three songs appear on this month’s National Survey Top 30 Songs chart; “Brown County Red” at #3, “I’m Leaving You And Fort Worth Too” at #4 and “Had It Not Been For The Train” debuting at #26. 
 
2016 marks twenty-five solid years of making ground-breaking music for Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, who just received news It’s About Tyme has received a Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA) nomination for Album of the Year while Moore has received a nod for Male Vocalist of the Year.
